Christine's Story

Thank you to all our amazing volunteers especially at this difficult time. Christine tells of her experience as an Aspire Volunteer: "Things have been a bit different during lockdown. We continue to offer telephone support to group members. Most of them are shielding and haven’t been out of their homes or gardens for 11 weeks. There have been peaks and troughs, but I always receive a cheerful welcome when I call and both they and I seem to appreciate the weekly chats. I hope to continue in my role with Aspire when it is safe for the group to resume."
